Formula
Sum of weighted items (maximum 12.5). Three-tier: below 2 low, 2 to 6 moderate, above 6 high. Two-tier: 4 or below unlikely, above 4 likely.
Limitations
- Item 2 is a subjective clinician judgement.
- Depends on prevalence; must be combined with D-dimer or imaging according to the local pathway.
